Launch Sequence Started

Some time during my life I have heard that great art evokes strong emotions. Art can be performed, created, and illustrated in many forms and is only limited by our imaginations. As humanity evolves into the future, art is becoming increasingly intricate and complex that some art work is blurring the lines between art and reality. I, myself, am fascinated with many forms of art such as photography.

I have an app on my smart phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) called Flipboard and one of my interests in Flipboard is photography. One of the recent articles in Flipboard has been photographs that look extremely like paintings. It is amazing what kinds of images that can be captured by a lens, utilizing lighting and perhaps some software tinkering. I swear this one photograph was a painting, or a model of some sort, except upon closer examination was indeed a photograph.

I am thankful for being exposed to art that makes me think, or evokes strong emotion because of what it takes to be able to create beautiful and impactful art work. Some people work their whole lives to have their art work evolve into something great. It may start at something really basic, but it takes nourishment, and encouragement to be able to get to that level of greatness that really makes somebody step back and say "Wow, what a great piece!", or just be in awe and speechless. I really wish that I had taken the time for myself to nourish my artistic side because I really think that I could have been a great artist. I just did not have the outlet, or the guidance to point me down an artistic path. This is something that I would like to provide for my students in the future.
